One Bangkok nominated for award

One Bangkok, a planned mixed-use development in the heart of Bangkok, is the only Thailand-based project to be nominated for a prestigious real estate industry award at the annual MIPIM Asia event next month.

Described on its website as a “Once-in-a-generation development”, One Bangkok is set to be a fully-integrated district in prime central Bangkok on the corner of Wireless Road and Rama IV adjacent to Lumpini Park.

One Bangkok, is a joint venture between TCC Assets (Thailand) Co. Ltd. and Frasers Centrepoint Limited. It has been nominated in the ‘Best Futura Project’ category and will battle to win the top award against two Hong Hong-based developments.

When completed in 2021, One Bangkok will have a gross floor area of 1.83 million sqm.

It will feature five Grade ‘A’ office towers, five luxury and lifestyle hotels, three ultra-luxury residential towers, four retail precincts as well as art and culture spaces.

The land plot is leased from the Crown Property Bureau.

MIPIM Asia, an annual awards’ showcase and the 33 winners will contend for Gold, Silver and Bronze honours at the MIPIM Asia Awards Gala Dinner in Hong Kong on November 29.

“The MIPIM Asia Awards are known across the region as the benchmark for showcasing achievement in the property industry,” said Ronan Vaspart, a MIPIM Director.

Projects from mainland China and Hong Kong feature strongly in the line-up of MIPIM Asia Awards finalists, in addition to entries from Japan, Vietnam, South Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand.
