Sindhorn Tonson: 40% sold

Sindhorn Tonson, a 17-storey leasehold condominium project at the junction of Sarasin Road and Tonson Road in the heart of Bangkok opened for sales last weekend.

Local media reports have suggest that 40 percent of the 59-unit development – equal to 23 units – have been sold.

Units at Sindhorn Tonson range in size from 85 sqm to 140 sqm for a 30-year plus renewable 30-year leasehold property.

Prices average THB 220,000 per sqm, with the cheapest units in the high-end development starting at THB 19 million.

According to the Bangkok Post a buyer read about soaring land prices in the Langsuan area of Bangkok, and called the developer to buy a two-bedroom unit priced at THB 40 million baht for his daughter.

The Thai buying process, according to known factors and the personal experiences of ThailandProperty.News, is not quick. A purchase at this price level normally taken months to confirm.
