The super-luxury residential property market in Bangkok is continuing to grow, and remains one of the hottest market sectors in the city.
According to Nexus Property Marketing, between 2015 until the first quarter of 2018, 42 projects with 1,554 units were launched into the market.
Nalinrat Chareonsuphong, the Managing Director of Nexus, said this reflects the constant demand for luxury residences.
She also revealed her seven “key potential locations” in Bangkok for luxury residences.
She named them as Sukhumvit (Phrom Phong to Ekkamai), Ladprao -Kaset Nawamin, Rama 9 – Srinakarin – Pattanakarn, Ratchapruek, Sathorn—Rama 3, Bang Na, and Rama 2.
ThailandProperty.News would suggest that some of these locations, such as Ratchapruek and Rama 2, would not normally feature as “luxury” locations however, they would certainly be more suited to sumptuous landed properties.
Nexus added that location remains the key factor for super-luxury residential development.
With a limited amount of available land and soaring land prices, Thailand property developers are more interested in project development on smaller-sized land, yet offer function areas that meet the requirements of super-luxury home buyers.
