Thailand Property Awards: Entries open

This year’s 13th annual PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards will be the biggest yet, with new categories that reflect changes in Thailand’s property and real estate landscape.

The countdown to the ‘Oscars’ of Thailand’s property sector has started, with the Awards ceremony set to take place on August 31st in Bangkok.

The two-day Grand Awards, featuring winners from other Asian countries, will take place in Bangkok for the first time on November 8th and November 9th.

Presented by Kohler and supported by official portal partner DDproperty.com, the annual competition celebrates its 13th year by adding new categories to acknowledge the sector’s current high-growth sectors.

New categories include Best Smart Home Development, Best Co-Working Space Development and Best Senior Living Development – bringing the total categories to 40.

Nominations from the general public for the Thailand Property Awards are now open.

Eligible entries from property developers will be accepted until 8 June 8, 2018, and entries can be submitted online.

JLL Thailand managing director Suphin Mechuchep (pictured), who has been reappointed as chairperson of the independent judging panel, said the PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards continue to gain respect and awareness.

With the addition of new categories, she said the panel expects to receive high calibre entries and looks forward to conducting site inspections and deliberating the merits of eligible entrants.

The 13th PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards Gala Dinner will be held on August 31, 2018, at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok.

Around 600 top-level executives and VIPs are expected to join the black-tie event.

The main category winners will advance to the 8th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards grand finals which will be hosted in Thailand for the first-time.
